A NEW YEAR

L13 has been on a health and Family break for the past year and a half and is now starting to think about the coming 2011 year. I forgot how important Family is and I am looking to make sure this does not happen again. Sorry for the lovers and haters, but L13 was never gone. Just resting.

Letting you know

Just a heads up for this season. L13 is taking some time away from the scene for many reasons which I will tell in a later time. I know a lot of you have been asking about L13 and I am sure that others have been making shit up. What ever... We are taking time off and it is just that. I know loads of you are waiting for L13 decks. I hope you can wait a little longer. Keep riding and will keep you all posted during this down time.

Summer for Sick Kids urban Rail Jam this weekend - Come and help out

May 29th – May 31st 2009
Boardsports, Toronto Ontario 

We hope you can join us May 29th to May 31st at Boardsports for this jam packed weekend to help raise money for the Sick Kids Foundation. Summer Water Sports (SWS), Canada’s largest water sports entertainment and service provider will be hosting the third annual “Summers for SickKids.” This urban wakeboard rail jam at Boardsports on Yonge Street helps raise money and awareness for Sick Kids Hospital. The SWS team is privileged to spend our summer months in sun doing what we love. However, so many children are not as fortunate and have to spend their summers in hospitals. For this reason, SWS launched “Summers For Sicks Kids,” allowing riders from all over the country to showcase their talent for a great cause. All profits from this event will be donated to the SickKids Foundation. 
Drawing an unbelievable amount of attention from the local community, this event has raised over $17,000 since it began in 2007. With the continued support of our wonderful partners we aim to raise $20,000 in 2009. 

Come check out vendor village, where 100% of the sales of everything in the tents will go to the Sick Kids Foundation. This is a great way to load up on summer gear for a great cause!

It's SNOWING

It has been awhile since I have posted something on our L13 site. The snow is falling and Xmas is coming. I hope everyone has a great holiday season ahead.

WAKEUP IN OTTAWA part two

I had an amazing time in ottawa with some of the L13 riders and family. The set up was one of the best I have seen in a while. Simple design and SHIT went down.

I would like to thank the wakeup guys for inviting us. I hope you guys got to your Hotel OK because when I left things looked to me getting a little crazy. Happy Birthday Scott.

WAKEUP in Ottawa

Have you ever seen a wakeskate / Board event on a University Campus? Well, on Friday Sept 26th starting at 6pm in the Vanier Parking Lot in Ottawa. L13 will be hyping the crowd up with FREE swag and come hang out at the after party for your chance to win loads of free goodies.

I had an amazing time at this years Toe Jam in Wasaga Beach here in Canada. Seeing the level of riding and how wakeskating has progressed was exciting and at the same time scary. Congrats to Scott B who won the Canadian off rail session. Enjoy that Flat Screen TV dude.
