Slide Into Summer For SickKids Hospital”

We hope you can join us May 29th to May 31st at Boardsports for this jam packed weekend to help raise money for the Sick Kids Foundation. Summer Water Sports (SWS), Canada’s largest water sports entertainment and service provider will be hosting the third annual “Summers for SickKids.” This urban wakeboard rail jam at Boardsports on Yonge Street helps raise money and awareness for Sick Kids Hospital. The SWS team is privileged to spend our summer months in sun doing what we love. However, so many children are not as fortunate and have to spend their summers in hospitals. For this reason, SWS launched “Summers For Sicks Kids,” allowing riders from all over the country to showcase their talent for a great cause. All profits from this event will be donated to the SickKids Foundation.
Drawing an unbelievable amount of attention from the local community, this event has raised over $17,000 since it began in 2007. With the continued support of our wonderful partners we aim to raise $20,000 in 2009.
Come check out vendor village, where 100% of the sales of everything in the tents will go to the Sick Kids Foundation. This is a great way to load up on summer gear for a great cause!
